Ayurvedic Exfoliator

Gram flour gently cleanses the skin and yogurt has lactic acid which is great for acne. While you may not be familiar with gram flour, it’s easily found at most grocery stores!

  1. 2 tbsp of gram flour (besan)
  2. 2 tbsp of yogurt
  3. 1 tablespoon of rose water.  

Apply on face as a mask and exfoliate with hands when it’s still little wet and wash it off.  If there is any left over, refrigerate and discard after 7 days. 

Ayurvedic toner

  1. 4 oz. Rose water 
  2. 1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  3. 1 tbsp vegetable glycerin 

Mix well in a spray bottle and use after cleansing the face. If there is any left over, refrigerate and discard after 7 days. 

Clay mask for Acne

  1. ¼ cup Bentonite clay powder 
  2. 2 tbsp Neem powder

Mix well in a bowl and take 1 teaspoon of mixture and mix with rose water or distilled water, enough to make a smooth consistency paste and apply on face for 10-15 minutes and wash it off with water.  If there is any left over, refrigerate and discard after 7 days.
